The end of daylight savings time was this weekend and I hope you celebrated your extra hour as we all 'fall back!'

I sure did! My good friend Claire was in town visiting and we had ourselves a good ol' fashioned sleepover. By this I mean, we got all dolled up then lost all our energy to actually go anywhere. So, we tucked in for a movie and both fell asleep... Classic.

Gosh, I love the University of Minnesota and Homecoming is one of my favorite times of year! The Parade and Game are so much fun and it's a great time to celebrate!

The Aster Cafe

Monday is a difficult day, right? The weather was just so beautiful yesterday that Megan and I had to get out to enjoy it. So we skipped down the road to our favorite outdoor patio at The Aster Cafe on Main Street.

A Place for Reflection

I really want to get back into the swing of blogging again. I really like the chance to share a piece of my world and I absolutely enjoy looking back at the more charming parts of my life. I won't start out with too grand of expectations, but I'll just share a bit of discovery I made recently.

Time to Enjoy Summer

Yesterday marked the first day of summer! I finished my group project and was off to work. Well, I got done really early and had the whole afternoon to myself. Instead of heading home and inevitably just hanging out in my room, I decided to head to the park. While I wasn't really prepared for all of the walking, I had the most wonderful day at the Como Zoo and Park. This is probably my favorite place in all of the Twin Cities.

A Beautiful Day in Minneapolis!

Did anyone else get out yesterday to enjoy the beautifully warm weather? That certainly just came out of no where! I know, I enjoyed the sudden change of weather. Which is good, because some people are starting to talk about snow tonight?!?! Oh my... Welcome to Minnesota, I guess. Or an alternative hypothesis is the impending Apocalypse. I guess I will leave you to make your own opinion on the matter.

I had quite the adventure with my roommates yesterday. We went to Uptown and Lake Calhoun and soaked in the nice weather. Than later I went for a "run" with Megan to Jimmy John's. Later, we walked around Dinkytown and ended up at Annie's for a malt. Pretty much a perfect day! Here are a few pics:
